📣 We’re hiring a Volunteer Coordinator!

Do you enjoy getting to know people and finding roles where their strengths can shine? Are you patient, approachable, and comfortable inviting people to get involved—even when the answer is “no”?

Join Central Station Community Centre! You’ll recruit, train, and support volunteers while keeping schedules and records organized. Your work will help volunteers feel welcome, prepared, and valued across our programs and events.

🕘 Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
📋 Permanent full time, 35–40 hours/week
🤝 We’ll consider two part-time positions through job sharing.
💰 Pay based on experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Related education or practical experience is preferred.

A great start to our Men’s Shed program!

Last Tuesday, we welcomed a wonderful group of men to our first Men’s Shed gathering at Central Station!

It was a great opportunity to meet new people, share stories, enjoy some coffee, and learn more about the skills, hobbies, and experiences everyone brings to the table. We even got to see some impressive woodworking projects!

And the best part? We’re doing it again today!

Men’s Shed meets every Tuesday 1:00-3:00pm at Central Station.

Whether you enjoy working with your hands, learning something new, sharing your skills, or simply spending time with good company, there’s a place for you here.

You’re welcome to stop by and see what it’s all about! And if you can’t make it today, join us next Tuesday.

No special skills or experience needed. Just come as you are!

The Manitoba Rent Relief Fund will be available at the Get Your Benefits Clinic to support Manitobans experiencing challenges with housing stability.

Their team can help individuals and families secure, maintain, or stabilize their housing while connecting them with other helpful supports.
