"Today is the day it all begins..."

Terry travelled to Outer Cove Beach, collecting two bottles of Atlantic seawater. He planned to keep one as a souvenir and pour the second one in the Pacific Ocean when he arrived home, but the blustery ocean carried one bottle out to sea.

Well, the final tally is in, and we can’t thank you enough, Wingham and area. $38,577 raised during the 2025 Wingham Terry Fox Run. A new record! You are amazing! So many people to thank. Our sponsors, Fogals-Your Independent Grocer, Burnside Engineering, Howick Insurance. What a spectacular day! More than 250 people showed up to today’s Wingham Terry Fox Run, raising more than $35,000, so far! I can’t say thank you enough to everyone for another wonderful morning of raising money for life changing cancer research! More thank you’s and final fundraising dollars to come tomorrow morning!
