We encourage all members to attend an upcoming virtual town hall on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in the Workplace on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. EST (registration required).
This important discussion will focus on the impact of intimate partner violence in workplaces, how to support a survivor when they disclose, and the challenges workers face when seeking help on the job. The panel, which includes Tracey Ramsey, Director of Unifor’s Women’s Department, will explore what employers can and should do to support workers, as well as how legislation can help create safer workplaces for everyone.
We encourage members to register, attend, and share this opportunity with others in their communities.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their workplace. Please join me, Lisa Gretzky, Kirsten Mercer, Tracey Ramsey, Farrah Khan, and Jamie West NDP for a town hall on the state of intimate partner violence in workplaces, the challenges facing workers, and how these challenges differ based on a person's age, gender, or position in the hierarchy. Our conversation will cover what employers can and should do to support workers and how legislation can help make workplaces safer.
Join us ONLINE on June 10th, 2026 at 7 PM for the second edition of the Talk Back series on Intimate Partner violence.
