Hello everyone ❤️

It’s been a while since we last posted, but we want you to know that we are still here, still fighting, and still building new ways to fight loneliness and social isolation.

Over the past months, we’ve been working on projects designed to help people connect, start conversations, and feel less alone in everyday life.

Today, we’re excited to officially share ConvoSpark Wear our new Fourth Wall merch collection 🎉

ConvoSpark Wear is more than just clothing.

Every hoodie, t-shirt, and cap is designed to help start real conversations in public and make social interaction easier, more natural, and less intimidating.

For example:
🟣 “Truth or Dare? You go first.”
🟡 “Let’s Play Rock Paper Scissors.”
⚪ “Low Battery. Still Social.”
🟢 “Say Hi, I Don’t Bite :)”

The idea is simple:
Someone reads your shirt…
They smile…
They respond…
And suddenly two strangers are talking.

Sometimes making friends or meeting people feels difficult. ConvoSpark Wear helps break the ice and gives people an easy reason to interact with each other.

We truly believe small conversations can fight loneliness.

Our merch collection includes:
• Hoodies
• T-shirts
• Caps
• Multiple colour variants
• All sizes

Every purchase directly supports the mission. All money collected goes back into developing new ideas, social games, conversation tools, public activities, and future projects focused on fighting loneliness and social isolation.

You can support the movement by:
❤️ Checking out the merch
❤️ Sharing this post
❤️ Wearing ConvoSpark in public
❤️ Trying the social challenges
❤️ Starting conversations with others
❤️ Helping spread awareness about loneliness and social isolation

This is more than merch.
This is wearable social connection.

We’re back and we’re just getting started.

Hello friends and supporters,

We have launched a 𝗚𝗼𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗠𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 to support our mission of 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

We are building tools and initiatives that help people start conversations, meet others, and strengthen human connection and social health.

So far, we have been offering several initiatives 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲, including:

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 – conversation cards designed to help people break the ice and connect
convospark.ca

𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 – a phone line where people who feel lonely can call and have a real conversation
talkloop.org

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 – helping people organize gatherings and meet others in their communities

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 – tools designed to encourage interaction and human connection

You can also learn more about the overall mission here:
fightloneliness.ca

All of these initiatives are currently being supported with our own limited resources. We are a new organization and we are actively applying for 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 to sustain and grow these projects.

However, while we wait for those applications to be reviewed and continue searching for long-term partners, we are asking for the help of our community.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 $𝟱 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, helping someone who feels isolated find a moment of connection.

Every contribution helps us continue building tools and programs that bring people together.

If you are not able to contribute financially, you can still help in a powerful way by 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻. The more people who see it, the more likely it is to reach someone who has the ability to support the cause.

Looking ahead, we also plan to create a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 where people can come together in person.

A welcoming environment where people can meet, talk, and connect naturally. A place with board games, card games, music, art, and a comfortable lounge where people can simply spend time together. A place designed for human connection and social health.

Projects like this require resources, and that is why your support matters.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

If you can give, please consider contributing to our 𝗚𝗼𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗠𝗲.

If you cannot give, please 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 so that more people can discover this mission.

Thank you for supporting this work and for helping build a future where fewer people have to feel alone.

𝗔 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺

Recently, our page experienced a security issue where a few individuals spammed our posts with inappropriate comments and reactions. The matter was reported to Facebook and has now been handled.

Thank you to everyone who remained patient and continued supporting us during that time. Your understanding truly means a lot.

Moving forward, our page is now restricted to audiences in Canada and the United States, as our organization currently focuses its work in these regions.

We appreciate everyone who believes in this mission.

Let’s continue building this community together.
Let’s stay connected.
Let’s continue advocating for social health and human connection.

And most importantly, let’s continue working together to fight social isolation and loneliness in Canada.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Fighting loneliness and social isolation takes effort.

Sometimes I see people on Reddit or Nextdoor asking where they can meet people their age or make new friends. Often people suggest places like bars, clubs, or events. Those are good suggestions.

But simply going to those places does not automatically mean you will connect with people.

Connection requires effort.

You have to be willing to step a little outside your comfort zone.

In reality, opportunities to connect are everywhere in our daily lives.

The person sitting next to you on the bus.
The person shopping beside you at the grocery store.
The person waiting in line with you.

Sometimes a simple “Hi” can start a conversation.

We often wait for the “perfect place” to meet people, but connection does not only happen in special places. It can happen anywhere.

But it requires one thing from us: initiative.

If we want to fight loneliness and social isolation, we must be willing to take small steps, start small conversations, and go a little out of our way to connect with others.

Because meaningful connections rarely happen magically.

They happen when we make the effort.

Some of the loneliness we feel doesn’t come from being alone.
It comes from feeling stuck.

Same routine.
Same thoughts.
Same version of yourself every day.

And deep down, you know you’re meant for more.

Striving to be a better person is not about being perfect.
It’s about movement.

Small things:

waking up with intention

taking care of your body

learning something new

speaking to someone instead of staying quiet

doing what you said you would do

Growth changes how you feel about yourself.
And when that changes, everything else starts to shift too.

You carry yourself differently.
You show up differently.
You connect differently.

And suddenly… you’re not as alone as you thought.

Because you’re no longer waiting for life to happen to you.
You’re becoming someone who steps into it.

Start small. Stay consistent.
Become someone you’re proud of.

That alone can change everything.

We’re building something real. And we can’t do it alone.

If you’ve been watching what we’re doing and thinking,
“I wish I could be part of this…”
This is your moment.

We’re looking for people who actually care.
People who are tired of seeing loneliness everywhere and doing nothing about it.

This isn’t just volunteering.
This is building something that can genuinely change lives.

Right now, we need people with different skills:

Outreach & community engagement

Social media & content creation

Event planning

Tech / product development

Partnerships & relationship building

Fundraising, crowdfunding & grant writing

And also general volunteers who just want to help however they can

Because truth is… passion alone isn’t enough.
To grow this movement, we need people who understand how to bring in resources, secure funding, and help us scale.

We’re still early.
No big corporate sponsors yet.
Just people… building for people.

So if you’ve got time, skills, ideas — or just the heart for this mission — we want you.

Send us a message.
We’ll bring everyone together in a group (WhatsApp/Messenger), align, and start moving with intention.

This is how movements grow.
Not from one person… but from people who decide to show up.

Let’s build something that actually brings people closer again 🤝

Volunteering does something most people don’t expect.

It doesn’t just help others
it helps you too.

We often talk about loneliness like it’s something you fix by “finding people” or “making friends.”
But sometimes, the fastest way out of loneliness…
is to show up for someone else.

The other day, I was volunteering at a food bank.

There was an older woman who came in with a young child.
She was there to receive food.

But then she asked a simple question
“Can I help serve?”

And something shifted.

You could literally see it.

From someone coming in needing support
to someone giving it.

Her energy changed.
Her posture changed.
Her smile… completely different.
A moment she will never forget in her life.

She wasn’t just receiving anymore
she was part of something.

That moment said everything.

Loneliness isn’t always about being alone.
Sometimes it’s about feeling like you don’t matter
like you have nothing to give
like you’re not part of anything.

Volunteering breaks that.

It gives you a place.
A role.
A reason to show up.

You don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You just need to be present.

And in that presence
connection happens naturally.

Not forced.
Not awkward.
Real.

You start talking to people.
You share small moments.
You laugh.
You feel useful.

And slowly
that feeling of isolation starts to loosen its grip.

That’s why volunteering is powerful.

Not just because it helps communities
but because it rebuilds connection from the inside out.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected lately
don’t just wait for connection to come to you.

Go where it lives.

Show up.
Help out.
Be part of something.

You might walk in thinking you’re giving your time

and walk out realizing
you received something you didn’t even know you needed.
