We are proud to launch WRYM’s Invest in Citizenship campaign. 🍁

From June 1 to July 1, donations made to WRYM will be matched through $15,000 in available matching funds.

Every contribution helps support young men experiencing homelessness as they work toward stability, independence, and brighter futures.

🍁 INVEST IN CITIZENSHIP RETURNS JUNE 1 🍁

This June, your support goes twice as far.

WRYM is proud to launch our annual Invest in Citizenship campaign, a month-long matching fundraiser leading up to Canada Day.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of several committed supporters, we have secured $15,000 in matching funds. That means every dollar donated during June will be doubled to help vulnerable youth access housing, life skills support, employment assistance, mental health services, and pathways toward long-term independence.

At its core, Invest in Citizenship is about more than fundraising.

It’s about recognizing that citizenship is not only about the rights we enjoy, but the responsibilities we share. It’s about compassion, community, and ensuring that young people facing homelessness and hardship are not left behind.

As Canada Day approaches, we encourage our community to reflect on what it truly means to be Canadian:

This week, we encourage our community to support youth experiencing homelessness through The Orange Door Project at the South Windsor The Home Depot location.

We’re grateful to be one of the organizations supported through monthly Charity Pasta Nights at the Giovanni Caboto Club ❤️

Events like this are a great example of community coming together in a simple way to make a real difference for local youth. Every plate served helps support programs like ours that provide safe housing and support for young men working toward independence.

What a night ❤️

Our Trivia Night brought together an incredible group of supporters, community partners, and friends, all in support of the young men at The Windsor Residence for Young Men. The energy in the room, the laughs, and the friendly competition made it a night we won’t forget anytime soon.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsor, Dave Freeman - Edward Jones, whose support helped make this night possible. We are also so grateful to everyone who attended and to our volunteers who kept everything running smoothly. It truly takes a community to do this work, and we are lucky to have yours behind us.
