Say Hello to Count Her In Sports Club! 🤍🩷🖤

Krista Lavendar joins Count Her In Sports all the way from Barrie, ON - bringing with her an incredible program designed by teachers, for teachers to help keep girls in sports!🌟

Alongside her colleague, Nadia, they developed and structured the Count Her In Sports Club. A fully designed, low-barrier program that makes it easy for schools to get girls involved, while seamlessly fitting into a teacher’s schedule without adding an overwhelming workload.

All it takes is one representative to bring it to life in your school, and the impact can be game-changing for the girls who need it most.

Interested in bringing Count Her In Sports Club to your school? Send us a message or email to learn more! 💌

Introducing Melissa Erwin - Unite Her's Director of Coaching and Player Development!

Born and raised in Windsor, Melissa Erwin has dedicated her life to the game of soccer — first as a player, and now as a leader, mentor, and coach helping shape the next generation.

Melissa played competitive soccer locally before continuing her career at St. Clair College from 2011–2013. She began coaching in 2012 with Tecumseh and went on to coach with Amherstburg Fusion from 2017–2021, where she led a 2017 girls team to an undefeated season and the first Ontario Cup win in the club’s history.

Today, Melissa continues to make a powerful impact in the game as:

• Assistant Foundations Director – Tecumseh United FC

• All Abilities Director

• Head Coach – 2015 & 2016 Girls

• Assistant Coach – OPDL

Melissa holds her Canada Soccer Children’s Diploma and Canada Soccer C License, and is passionate about developing players at all levels while creating positive, inclusive environments where athletes can grow, belong, and succeed.

Leaders like Melissa are changing the game for the next generation ⭐⚽
