Washington keeps using economic pressure against Canada, yet Ottawa continues to accommodate US military aggression while dressing up dependence as strategic alignment.

Appeasement is not sovereignty. And repeating subservience while expecting a different outcome is no strategy at all.

It’s time Ottawa stopped guessing what Washington wants and started listening to Canadians.

From Cuba to Palestine, deprivation is used as a weapon.

Cuba and Palestine have different histories and face different realities, but both reveal the devastating human cost when powerful states restrict access to food, medicine, fuel, and essential supplies.

Our solidarity cannot stop at one border. Chatham for Palestine is proud to support this community screening of Cuba After Castro and the accompanying Cuba aid drive.

Join us September 29 at the Chatham Library for a film, free food, discussion, and an opportunity to provide material aid.

CODEPINK Ontario would like to thank everyone who participated in our charity yard sale last weekend. We were able to purchase over $400 in school supplies.
Also thank you to our amazing comrade and dedicated member Ann Vardai Na for matching what we made at the sale 🩷🩷🩷 these much needed supplies will be donated to New Beginnings Windsor to be distributed to the amazing kids there that deserve to go back to school with all the tools needed to succeed 🫶🏼 we look forward to doing more community engagement actions. Next we are planning to gather hygiene supplies to donate to H4 downtown, as well as a gender affirming clothing swap event so keep an eye on our social media!

🇨🇺 Cuba is facing collective punishment imposed by the United States.

For decades, the U.S. embargo has placed enormous economic pressure on the Cuban people.

🇨🇦 As part of the growing solidarity among Canadians, a new petition is calling on the Government of Canada to oppose the U.S. embargo, defend Canada’s longstanding ties with Cuba, and uphold its historic position at the United Nations.

Canada has repeatedly voted against the U.S. embargo at the UN. It’s time for Canada to turn that position into action.
