🌱💚 Our WYC Garden is growing beautifully!

From fresh vegetables and herbs to colourful community artwork, our garden is a space where youth can learn, create, and connect with nature.

✨750FORPEACE✨

15 more days👏 Help us cheer on Teejai as he prepares for 750 for Peace: From Ottawa, To Windsor, with Love starting July 1st at Parliament Hill and concluding on August 1 at Jackson Park, walking 750 kms in the spirit of peace and unity to fundraiser for youth outreach programs.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and look forward to cheering him on every step of the way!

Update 💚👣❤️
In 19 days we’ll leave for Ottawa! Thanks to all of our supporters we have a budget to cover the cost of our accommodations along the route. We had intended to rent an RV, and to live out of it along the route but we were unable to book one for the length of time we’ll need it. The second option was to book rooms along the route and as of yesterday, all of our accommodations are booked. Although the cost is just over $3000, we believe the modest accommodation will be very helpful when resting and recovering after full days of walking. Most of our accommodations can be cancelled, and in the event we are offered a place to stay, we’ll be able to lessen that expense. Currently we are looking for a van to travel in. We’ll have our luggage, but most importantly, we’ll have our dog travelling with us. Thank you so much for your support. We are 750 for peace! ❤️👣💚

✨Reaction Reset✨

Join us July 14th at 4:00 PM for Reaction Reset, an 8-week strengths-based emotional regulation program for youth ages 16–29.

Reaction Reset is designed to help youth better understand their emotions, reactions, and triggers while building practical skills for stress, reaction, and conflict management. Through engaging activities and effective coping strategies, participants will strengthen self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. Thank YOU for helping the Mission help feed and support our community through the Mission's The Windsor Youth Centre Program!

During the month of May, YOU helped support 191 unique through a difficult time, helped provide 994 meals so young people weren't hungry and helped 41 young families with babies and toddlers get supports and basics for their young families, thank YOU!!!
