University of Windsor Social Work students are welcome and encouraged to participate in this year's annual Meet a Social Worker event hosted by the OASW Windsor and Area Local Engagement Network on Thursday March 6th from 5-7pm at the School of Social Work (167 Ferry St). This event is a great occasion for students to meet and connect with 'seasoned' Social Workers from various avenues of practice and learn about the diverse opportunities that the field of social work offers. This event will work in the manner of a "speed dating" event where students will have the chance to ask questions to each of the professionals about their role, practice, experience in the field and more!

Register here to attend: https://www.gifttool.com/registrar/ShowEventDetails?ID=1125&EID=32284

**Professionals insterested in volunteering their time for this event please reach out to co-ambassadors Lauren Gagnon ([email protected]) and Lauren Fields ([email protected]) for more information.**
