Abridged Opera Abridged Opera is an indie opera company designed to bring a taste of this grand art form to communities in Southwestern Ontario that have limited access.

Windsor-Essex’s premiere opera company, our mission is to connect the community with exciting, educational, and professional productions that cater to a wide and varied audience. The company started in 2014 under the direction of Leamington native, Erin Armstrong but has since expanded and is governed by a board of local singers. Abridged Opera offers a full season of "abridged" opera to their community while collaborating with a variety of local arts groups.
