Thinking about separating, or already in the middle of it?

Mediation can be a helpful first step. It gives families a structured and respectful way to work through parenting, support, property, and other separation issues — often with less conflict and lower cost than going directly to court.

When choosing a family mediator, accreditation matters.

Not all family mediators are accredited by the Ontario Association for Family Mediation. Accreditation means a mediator has completed recognized education, practical training, and an internship process, and has committed to professional Standards of Practice. It also means they carry appropriate insurance and are accountable to a professional body.

Our lead mediator and owner Jennifer Suzor attended this amazing day of learning and applauds the Brain Injury Association of Windsor & Essex for bringing such excellent speakers to Windsor for a very impactful day of understanding the physical ramifications of intimate partner abuse.

What an impactful day. Our June 5 conference on Intimate Partner Violence and Traumatic Brain Injury created space for learning, connection, and real conversations about the hidden injuries faced by women and children in our community.
