A fictional cyberattack. New developments arriving as the exercise progresses. Leaders working through decisions that affect operations, public safety, communication, and trust.

One vehicle enters the Windsor- Detroit tunnel. A cyberattack follows. Suddenly, public safety, manufacturing, and cross-border trade are on the line.

Who makes the call when every decision carries consequences?

Connecting Windsor- Essex, St. Clair College and more, are partnering with siberX to bring Operation: Defend the North to Windsor - and you’re invited to watch the response unfold.

This live tabletop exercise puts leaders from IT, operations, communications, and executive leadership in front of a fictional cyber crisis. As new developments emerge, they must assess the threat, navigate uncertainty, and decide what happens next.

You’ll see the tough calls, competing priorities, and coordination it takes to respond when a cyber incident reaches far beyond a screen.

Whether you lead a business, work in cybersecurity, study technology, or care about the resilience of your community, this is your opportunity to see crisis leadership in action. No technical background required.

The scenario is fictional. The lessons could shape your next real decision.

Small choices can leave a big footprint!
Today we joined the Ignite Academy students to share a TELUS Wise Footprint workshop.
We explored what it means to be a thoughtful, kind and safe digital citizen including:
• How to make a positive impression online
• How to protect personal information
• And knowing when to ask a trusted adult for help.
We loved this group!
And they loved the TELUS Critters that were take home reminders that clicks, comments, and shares are opportunities to make a positive choice.
Thank you to Ignite Academy for welcoming us back and for helping young people build skills they can use where ever their digital lives take them.
