The Windsor Aquarium Society hosts meetings on the second Sundar each month for people in the aquarium hobby. Our meetings usually feature:
- a guest speaker
- a raffle for aquarium goods
- an auction for aquarium goods and many live plants
- a contest each month to show off your fish, your breeding ability, and your plant propagation
- socialization with like minded hobbyists

tings do not require membership! You can get a feel for the meetings and better understand if membership is right for you before ever having to commit to it. Perks of membership include:
- entry to the monthly meetings
- participation in club trips and events
- discounts on livestock and merchandise at local fish stores

Hey everyone!

Our next meeting is November 9, 2025
10:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.
CRAMDON’S TAP & EATERY

Beverages will be available immediately; kitchen opens for food at 11 A.M.

At this month's meeting, guest speaker Sydney Currier will be giving us the Invasive Species Centre's presentation on Organisms in Trade, addressing multiple invasive species pathways including the pet trade, e-commerce, water gardens, and live food. This talk will focus on aquariums and pet species, providing information and resources under the "Don't Let it Loose" campaign. Sydney's talk will also be highlighting Hydrilla, a plant used in aquariums that is prohibited under the Invasive Species Act, and was discovered in Canada for the first time in Leamington, Ontario during the summer of 2024.

This month's bowl show will be Plants and Anabantids (including Bettas and Gouramis), with the alternate bowl show of Fish (any variety)!

As usual, we will also hold our monthly raffle and mini-auction. Memberships will be available at the meeting (rates are $25 for an individual, or $30 for the whole family).

At this month's meeting, we will be welcoming our club's very own Jason Reding, one of the board member of the Windsor Aquarium Society! Jason’s talk, “Why we should CARES,” will focus on the CARES program and how hobbyists can make a difference, one tank at a time. Please join us for this insightful talk from one of our local hobbyists!

This month's bowl show will be Catfish (including Plecos, Cories, and Otos), with the alternate bowl show of Fish (any variety)!

As usual, we will also hold our monthly raffle and mini-auction. Memberships will be available at the meeting (rates are $25 for an individual, or $30 for the whole family).
