Happy 118th Founders’ Day, Sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®!

On this special day, January 15, 1908, nine phenomenal women at Howard University lit a spark that grew into a vibrant, global sisterhood.

From Miner Hall to the world, we now stand over 360,000 strong across 12 nations, the U.S., Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, UAE, Germany, Japan, Liberia, Nigeria, South Korea, South Africa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, united in purpose, service, and sisterly love.

As we continue to Soar to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood under the 2022–2026 Administration, we honor the extraordinary legacy of our Founders and celebrate the generations of women who carry their vision forward.

Here’s to 118 years of impact, elegance, leadership, and love. And here’s to soaring even higher—together! 🩷💚

Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®️, Psi Delta Omega Chapter, take time to honour the fallen, reflect on the impact of armed conflict, and pay tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our country.

At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, we acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of the more than one million Canadian men and women, many of them young, who went to war so that we could live in a peaceful democracy.

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®️ , Psi Delta Omega (PDO) Chapter, participated in the annual CIBC Run for the Cure. PDO's "Sisters For The Cure" joined thousands of others across Canada in participating, donating, and fundraising to show their commitment to breast cancer cause. Thank you to everyone who helped us exceed this year's fundraising goal.

🌸 International Region - Atlantic Cluster - Community Service Project 🌸
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, members of Psi Delta Omega proudly delivered hundreds of feminine hygiene products to Hiatus House Windsor Ontario, a crisis shelter supporting women and children fleeing violence and abuse. This service project shines a light on period poverty - a reality that impacts too many. A 2023 Plan International survey revealed that 1 in 4 women who menstruate in Canada have had to choose between purchasing menstrual products and other essential items like food or rent. Together, we're committed to soaring to greater heights of service and sisterhood and making a difference in our community.
