Our children’s future starts with education.

I strongly encourage parents, grandparents, families, and community members to come out to this All Candidates Meeting for School Trustee on Monday, September 28, from 7:00–9:00 p.m.

Education plays such an important role in shaping our children’s knowledge, opportunities, values, and understanding of the world around them. So much of what our children learn and carry with them into the future is influenced by their education and the environment in which they learn.

This is our opportunity to get involved, ask questions, listen to the candidates, and understand what they stand for. Our children spend a significant part of their lives in our education system, so their voices and future deserve our attention.

Please make the effort to attend. Being involved in our children’s education means being involved in their future.

Never Again for Everyone !! Consistently NOT selectively!! 🇵🇸🇵🇸

October 7th did NOT begin the suffering of the Palestinian people. And October 10th is NOT a day to stay silent.

For generations, Palestinians have endured displacement, occupation, violence, loss, and the denial of their basic rights. What we have witnessed in Gaza did not appear out of nowhere, and it cannot be separated from the history that came before it.

The world has watched Palestinian families buried beneath rubble. It has watched children killed, parents grieve, communities destroyed, and an entire people repeatedly stripped of their humanity.

And now we are expected to move on?

NO.

We refuse to let Palestine become yesterday’s headline.
We refuse to let the world become comfortable with Palestinian suffering.
We refuse to let silence replace outrage.

October 10th is an INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION. From city to city and country to country, people will take to the streets, and Windsor will stand with them.

If Palestinian voices are being silenced, WE WILL GET LOUDER.

Criticizing the political ideology of zionism is NOT antisemitic.

Be informed and be aware so they do not silence your voices of determination to speak up for what is right!

Judaism and Zionism are not synonymous. Judaism is an ancient faith and tradition with roots going back roughly three thousand years. Modern political Zionism developed in Europe in the late nineteenth century, with the First Zionist Congress held in 1897. Jewish people existed for thousands of years before modern political Zionism, and Jewish identity should not be reduced to a political ideology.

It is also misleading to characterize the entire issue as simply Jewish people wanting a land or state for themselves. Our opposition has never been to Jewish people seeking safety, dignity or self-determination. those rights belong to Jewish people just as they belong to Palestinians and every other people.

Our opposition is rooted in what happens when the pursuit of one people's national aspirations comes at the expense of another people's rights, land and self-determination. The international community, including the United Nations Security Council and the International Court of Justice, has regarded Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory as contrary to international law. So when we speak about settlement expansion, dispossession and occupation, we are criticizing policies and actions not Judaism and not Jewish people.

No one's self-determination should come at the expense of someone else's self-determination. If we defend that principle for Jewish people, we must defend it equally for Palestinians. Anything less would be the selective humanity and we will continuously speak against.

It will always be never again for EVERYONE for us, consistently NOT selectively!!

‼️‼️‼️ DO NOT conflate the two and if you try, we will NOT allow you to!! Zionism is not judaism and opposing a political ideology is NOT antisemtic. We stand proud on the right side of history!! Knowledge is Power ‼️We must fully understand the difference between Judaism and Zionism.

Judaism is a faith. It is a religion, a way of life, & a deeply held identity that no one should have any issue with.

‼️Zionism, however, is a political ideology. Criticizing, questioning, or opposing a political ideology is not antisemitic.‼️ Opposition to Zionism is not rooted in a desire to deny anyone a homeland or self-determination. It is rooted in opposition to what is being done, & what people are willing to do, to obtain, establish, expand, and maintain that political project.

⚠️No one’s right to self-determination should ever come at the expense of someone else’s right to self-determination.

No ideology should be above criticism, & no government or political movement should be exempt from moral accountability.

Opposing the actions carried out in the name of an ideology is not the same as opposing the people, faith, culture, or identity associated with it.

We must be able to distinguish between a religion and a political ideology, between Jewish people and the policies of a state, and between a people’s identity and the actions carried out in their name.

That distinction matters because opposition to injustice should never be misrepresented as hatred toward an entire people or faith.

Our moral standards must be consistent: if something is wrong when one group does it, it must remain wrong when another group does it.

Human rights cannot be selective, and justice cannot depend on who holds the power.

It should always be Never Again” for everyone consistently not selectively.

Never again should never depend on who the victim is. Never again should never depend on who is committing the act. Never again should never depend on which side of a political divide someone stands on.

Human rights are not supposed to be conditional.

It is tragic to see how our leaders can change the definition of what is wrong and suddenly begin to see it as right or depending on who is committing the act.

The same action cannot be condemned as evil when one group commits it and justified, excused, minimized, or ignored when another group does the same.

Municipal elections are here and this is the time to pay attention. October 26.

Make sure you’re registered to vote.

Our city is diverse. Our leadership should reflect that diversity.

Support canadiates whos agenda will align with what you desire as a change.

We have a choice.

We can continue with the same old way of doing things, or we can stand behind leaders who believe that every person deserves to be represented, respected, and included.

When they say the change we desire isn’t possible, let’s prove them wrong.

It is time we get people who will work for people - ALL people consistently not selectively.

The smear campaign against me has failed. The only thing the zionists did was expose THEIR hatered!

Benjamin Netanyahu is currently wanted by the International Criminal Court under an active arrest warrant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity, and Canada has indicated it would enforce that warrant if he entered the country.

The shame will NEVER be on me walking against Israel, the shame will always fall on the councillors that joined the walk, while full knowingly the state they are walking with has VIOLATED INTERNATIONAL LAW and its leader is a WANTED war crimminal!

Thats treasonous to Canada!
