The Newly formed St. John Vianney Council 9528 will be hosting a Bottle Drive for Special Olympics on Saturday September 9th, in the parking lot of St. John Vianney Parish. We ask all our loyal followers to consider donating any empty alcohol beverage container on this day, to this very worthy cause.

The Knights of Columbus Ontario State December 50/50 Raffle Tickets are now available for purchase. This quarter the sponsored program is Coats for Kids. Monies derived from sales beginning in October thru December will help Ontario State and the Ontario K of C Insurance Agencies provide NEW, warm winter coats to those youngsters in Ontario who have no other means of acquiring them.

Please use the QR Code or URL in the poster below to purchase tickets. By using one of these two links your purchase will be credited to Council 9865, allowing us to share in a portion of the proceeds which are then used to assist other local charities in our Community.

(Every dollar Fr. Aloysius Nolan Council 9865 receives in return as a result of participating in this program is put right back into our local community.)

On September 10th Council 9865 lost a devote member of our Council. James Hall Newton was a devoted member to our Council, holding various positions over the years, including two separate terms as Grand Knight. Visitations and K of C prayers were held on September 16, and his funeral on September 17th. Our deepest condolences go out to James family.

On September 10th, 2020, Fr. Aloysius Nolan Council 9865 held a Bottle Drive to raise funds for Special Olympics Ontario. We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone in our community who came out to make donations. Thru your generosity we were able to raise $250 dollars for our gifted athletes. We plan to hold a second event in March or April in 2023, hope to see you there.

Fr. Aloysius Nolan Council 9865 will be hosting a Bottle Drive for Special Olympics on Saturday September 10th, 2022, between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Donations of empty alcoholic beverage containers of any size or variety are accepted, as are monetary donations. Please bring your donations to St. John Vianney Parish located at 385 Dieppe St., Windsor, ON, N8S 3V3 , during the hours mentioned above.

Jackpot Draw to be held on September 30th, 2022.
Early Bird Draws to be held on August 1st and September 1st, with three draws each, 1st Draw = $500, 2nd Draw = $250, 3rd Draw = $250.

On Sunday June 26th, the three Councils in the East Windsor Family of Parishes (Fr. Paul J.F. Wattson Council 8919, St. Vincent de Paul Council 952 and Fr. Aloysius Nolan Council 9865) held a joint Installation of Officers at St. John Vianney Parish, with Fr. Jim Higgins (Worthy Chaplain for each of these Council) and District Warden Donny Thivierge presiding over the induction. Elected Executive members of each of these Councils were reinstated or newly installed to their respective positions for the upcoming 2022/2023 fraternal year. Congratulations to all elected members of each Council.

June 27th Miracle.
Although the COVID Pandemic restrictions are being lifted and life is returning to a more recognizable normal, the need for assistance in our community is still high. Our local foodbanks, missions and assistance organizations pantries are being depleted at and accelerated pace. The June 27th Miracle will take place again this year, but different than years past. Everyone is encouraged to shop or collect food donations, and bring them directly to one of these organizations. Additionally, our local Society of St. Vincent de Paul will also be accepting donations the weekend of June 25/26 at the parish before and after mass. Please be generous.
