Hi guys!
The next two months we will be hosting a blood drive through the GiveBlood app! Especially during the pandemic, there is a high demand for donations. Together we can reduce this insecurity and help our community!

Here’s the best part: when you donate, you will be entered into a raffle to win a basket over $150 thanks to the donations of local businesses (more information about the prizes to follow in the coming weeks).

How to enter:

Download the GiveBlood app and create an account/sign in. Join our team by clicking the link in our bio and book an appointment to donate!

Post a picture of you donating on your story and tag .helping.hands .on

Thank you to everyone who else helped us on our goal to collect items/money for
Hiatus House.
Together as a community, we were able to collect over $500 in gift cards/bills and fill 3 carts worth of essential items for Hiatus House!

Thank you to everyone who helped donate and share as well! These times are hard for a lot of people, and we sometimes take our warm and loving homes for granted. Its unfortunate, but many women and children are mentally and/or physically abused in their own homes, with not many options for them to run too. Thankfully, we have emergency shelters like Hiatus House for those individuals to run to.
With your help and the help of countless others in our community, we hopefully will be able to make a better impact around us. These impacts can be as small as making a simple donation or as big as starting an item collection drive or volunteering at local shelters. Whatever it is, any change that makes our city safer and more loving, its a good change.

A big special thanks to Sierra Bergeron for collecting items every Thursday on her own time at St. Clair.
Without her effort, we surely would not have been able to do this much good for our community. Seriously Sierra, thank you so much. I’m glad to have you on our team♥️

To everyone who believed in us and helped us along our journey.
To everyone who helped me and my small team reach our goals to raise money and collect items for local charities.
To everyone who helped share and donate to our cause.
Without you, we would not be able to do so much good in our community. We have collectively raised over $6000 for The Downtown Mission, allowing them to feed 1800+ people with hot meals.
Thank you for joining me on this journey, I couldn’t have done it without any of you.

I just want to personally thank the most loving group of people ever, the Sadik family.
Thank you for being so kind and loving to my friends and I, we will never forget the compassion you have shown us all.
Everyday I pray for your well being and to help heal with everything that has happened recently.
As Chaldeans, our faith and culture are tied with God. The stories told from our villages in Iraq that sound bizarre but are undoubtedly true, show us proof of miracles. Our belief in God is what keeps us strong during these hard times. Knowing that Joseph is safe in the hands of God and being cared for by Mother Mary, reassures us that Joseph is living his best life along side his brother, Rama.

Thank you for raising Joseph to be the amazing person he will always be remembered as. His impact on me will remain till the end of time. May God give his soul peace.
