🌟 Site Visit to CMH – Inspiring Future Careers! 🌟

Yesterday we welcomed the WL Secondary woodwork class to Cariboo Memorial Hospital for a behind-the-scenes visit. The students got to see firsthand how their amazing work on adding “wheels to the PPE bins” has improved daily working conditions for our staff.

This is what true staff appreciation looks like—our team identified a need, and these talented students stepped up with skill and teamwork.

A huge thank-you to WL Secondary, the teacher-Andrew Hutchinson and the hardworking woodwork students for their craftsmanship and community spirit. 🙌

The visit also gave students a chance to explore the many career paths available for hospital support staff—options they may not have considered before.

Let’s continue supporting our youth as they discover meaningful, local careers right here in Williams Lake! 💚♻️🏥

When you donate we buy the end product -2x2 plastic, recycled from our hospital masks and other PPE
Converted to useful projects

CMH staff asked for wheels as the PPE bins were difficult to move. We heard them and here we are!!!
