Such an exciting Opening event tonight! Communty Arts Council are delighted to partner with The Station House Gallery in presenting 'Varied Vantages', facilitated by creatrix, guide and instructor Courtney Patenaude! Check out her ongoing explorations with Magpie Made It .

✨ April Exhibitions at the Station House Gallery ✨

The Station House Gallery and sponsor Pritchard & Co Accountants Ltd., invite you to join us tomorrow, Thursday April 2nd at 5pm for the opening reception of two powerful exhibitions! Come celebrate with us and meet the artists.

Originally from France, interdisciplinary artist, Benjamin Dacquet presents 'Intimate Seismography' in the lower gallery! Seismographic drawings in which expressive lines, shaped by Benjamin's experience with focal dystonia, meet the structured rhythm of a vintage typewriter. Each piece balances spasmodic, unpredictable lines with the mechanical regularity of typed ones - a process of introspection and transcendence.

Local artist and instructor Courtney Patenaude presents 'Varied Vantages' in the upper gallery, a collaborative and interactive exhibition offering perspective on the neurodivergent experience, and celebrating the voices and works of artists on the spectrum.
Made possible through the support of the City of Williams Lake, Cariboo Regional District, Central Cariboo Arts and Culture Society, and the Community Arts Council of Williams Lake.

A special thank you to our April Exhibition Sponsor, Pritchard & Co Accountants Ltd., for their continued support!

Both exhibitions will be on display Sat, April 4th through Sat, May 2nd. Please note, the Gallery will be closed Friday, April 5th for Good Friday.

Have you ever attended one of our ComeUNITY Events? We're delighted to be back at TRU Williams Lake, where we had the honour to host an event when they had The Witness Blanket displayed. That time, we brought in Kukpi7 Fred Robbins, who led us in a day of learning, surrounded by a work of art that conveyed so much meaning.

This time, artist and curator Nadine Spence is exhibiting Secwepemc and the Kenkeknum, a touring selection of sacred objects in the 'Honouring Our Grandmothers Healing Journey'. Opening night (December 5) will showcase the artworks and relationships embedded. Saturday (December 6), we'll bring together knowledge keepers and creatives to deepen the process. Food available at both events, all are welcome.
