Last week, we checked out , ID'ed some wildflowers using our Newcomb's Wildflower guide, we read up on local flowers and even did an invasive species pull! 🌸

Join us August 19, 2026 for a special Tree Check Month Webinar!

Hughstin Grimshaw-Surette, Co-Supervisor and Terrestrial Project Lead with the Nova Scotia Invasive Species Council, will discuss a variety of invasive species that threaten trees in Canada. Details on how to identify these species, their distribution, how to prevent their spread, and where to report observations will be highlighted.
