Join us on Wednesday, March 11 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Williams Lake City Hall for an opportunity to hear firsthand about life and service in the Royal Canadian Navy.

Sailor First Class Nick Straub, originally from Williams Lake, has recently returned from deployment aboard HMCS Max Bernays. During this session, he will share his experiences at sea, discuss naval operations, and speak about career opportunities within the Navy.

This is a FREE event and open to everyone in the community. We hope you will join us.

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 passes are on sale now at the Tourism Discovery Centre. These passes would be valid from April 1 to June 30, 2026, and include access to the swimming pool, fitness centre, and all drop-in Aquafit and fitness classes at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.

Registration deadline is March 20, 2026. This deadline allows the staff time to input the passes.

Register at the Tourism Discovery Centre, Williams Lake Visitor Centre at 1660 Broadway Ave South Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with cash, cheque or debit.

**You must have a valid Recreation Access Pass at the time of registration, or you will be registered at a non-resident rate**
