Biggar Donor’s Choice – Supporting Our Community!

Jade has already been out delivering pamphlets for Biggar Donor’s Choice! He is one of the many residents who take part in delivering pamphlets to homes throughout the community, helping spread the word about this important fundraiser.

Over the years, the Biggar community has shown wonderful support for Prairie Branches through its generous donations, and we are incredibly grateful!

Community members can make a donation by following the instructions provided on the pamphlet. Every donation received stays right here in Biggar, supporting the individuals who live in our community and helping enhance their quality of life by creating opportunities, experiences, and meaningful connections.

A huge THANK YOU to Biggar for your continued generosity, kindness, and support of Prairie Branches! Your contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support. 💙

A Big Shout-Out to the Kerrobert Fire Department!
Last week we had a special visit from the Kerrobert Fire Department in celebration of Fire Prevention Week!

Everyone had a great opportunity to check out the fire trucks, learn more about the important work firefighters do, and even try on some of the firefighting equipment! It was a fun and hands-on experience that helped bring fire safety awareness to life.

A huge THANK YOU to the Kerrobert Fire Department for taking the time to visit us, share your knowledge, and help make Fire Prevention Week a memorable experience for everyone!

We appreciate all that you do to keep our communities safe!

A great day to get out, connect, and showcase what Prairie Branches is all about! 💚

Yesterday, Prairie Branches had the opportunity to take part in Try-A-Trade Day, where we connected with surrounding communities, shared our story, and highlighted the amazing work happening every day within our agency!

We loved having the opportunity to share more about the participants we support, the programs and employment opportunities we offer, and the incredible staff who help make it all happen everyday.

We also had the opportunity to demonstrate our sit-to-stand lift, a piece of equipment used to support some of our participants with safe transfers and mobility. It was a great way to show how we support individuals in their daily lives and help promote their comfort, safety, and independence.

Events like these are a wonderful way to build connections, raise awareness about Prairie Branches, share employment opportunities, and celebrate the people and programs that help make our communities stronger.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize Try-A-Trade Day and welcomed us to be part of it! 😊

💛 A Special Thank You to the Town of Biggar! 💛

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Town of Biggar for generously waiving the rental fee for our Reconciliation event on September 29.

Because the hall was provided to us at no cost, we were able to welcome approximately 100 students from St. Gabriel School, along with participants from Kindersley and individuals from all of our surrounding communities. Having a space large enough to bring everyone together made such a difference and allowed us to create a truly meaningful afternoon of connection, learning, and community.

The hall was a wonderful space for our event — bright, welcoming, and equipped with everything we needed, including the kitchen and projector. It was the perfect place to bring everyone together.

A special thank you to Randy and Jason from the Town of Biggar for going above and beyond to help getting the slideshow working! Your help was very much appreciated. 😊

Thank you again to the Town of Biggar for your generosity and for supporting opportunities that bring people together to learn, listen, and continue the important work of Truth and Reconciliation. We truly appreciate your community and ongoing support! 🧡

❤️🧡 What a wonderful afternoon of learning, connection, and reflection as we honoured Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡❤️

A very special thank you to Garren Tootosis and his family for spending the afternoon with us, sharing their traditions, culture, stories, and knowledge. It was a meaningful opportunity to learn, listen, and celebrate the importance of understanding and respecting Indigenous cultures and experiences.

We are so grateful for the time, kindness, and knowledge that was shared with us. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon so special! Your participation, openness, and willingness to learn truly made the day one to remember. 🧡

Every step toward understanding, listening, and learning matters. 🧡❤️
