Call for Presenters & Facilitators for the Wiikwemkoong Elders & Youth Gathering 2026

Hello everyone! The Wiikwemkoong Elders & Youth Gathering Planning Committee is now accepting expressions of interest from presenters, facilitators, and knowledge sharers to lead workshops, talks, or interactive sessions at the 2026 Elders & Youth Gathering.

Gathering to take place May 29 & 30, 2026

Preference may be given to Wiikwemkoong members, local facilitators, and Indigenous-led initiatives. Everyone is encouraged to apply off or on-reserve.

Contest Opens: December 5, 2025
Deadline Extended: January 8, 2026
We’re inviting all artists, youth, Elders, creatives, and community members to design the official logo for the Wiikwemkoong Youth & Elders Gathering 2026!

🎨 What We’re Looking For:
A meaningful, eye-catching logo that reflects our community, our teachings, and the spirit of bringing Youth & Elders together.

💻 Digital logos are preferred, but all mediums are welcome — drawings, paintings, beadwork concepts, graphic designs, etc. If it's your creation, we’d love to see it!

🏆 What You Could Win:
The chosen design will become the official event logo for 2026, featured on all posters, merch, signage, and promotional materials.
