The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that began its work in Canada in 1882 and has grown to become the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in the country. The Salvation Army offers practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life. Its ministry message is based on the Bible; its MINISTRY is motivated by the love for God and a practical concern for the needs of humanity. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, supply basic human needs, provide personal counseling and undertake the spiritual and moral regeneration and physical rehabilitation of all persons who come within its sphere of influence regardless of race, color, creed, sex or age...

Sunday Worship - 10:30 am
Sunday School during service

TUESDAY
Food Bank - 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

WEDNESDAY
Seniors Meal - 12:00 pm (3rd Wednesday of the month - registration required)

THURSDAY
Bible Study - 10:30 am
Table Manna - 12:00 pm (2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month)
Food Bank - 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

FRIDAY
Bible Study - 10:30 am

💝 Empty Bowls: an opportunity for you to fill a bowl with delicious soup, and to fill the heart of your fellow neighbour with hope and security.

It delights us to announce that this year's Empty Bowls Peninsula fundraiser resulted in over $10,700 in funds raised to support the Bruce Peninsula Community Food Bank. INCREDIBLE!

Thank you to the incredible team of volunteers who made this event possible, to our sponsors, to the local culinary artists who provided soups, to the artisans who crafted bowls, and to each of you who purchased a ticket and voted for your favourite soup. And a very big thank you to Edward Matthews for his incredible photos of this fun evening!

Together, we can make a huge difference in the lives of our fellow community members ♡

Year after year, with the incredible leadership of Gena VanDorp, the humble team of women of the IODE White Cloud chapter have diligently served the Christmas mission here in Wiarton. From organizing to intentionally shopping for and packing gifts with care, this team has shown so much love for our Elders, providing beautiful gifts for each of our Senior hamper recipients. We are always so blessed to hear from those who have received their carefully chosen gifts who share how much joy these bring to their Christmas season. 🎄 🎁 💝

Gena has decided to retire from this position this season, passing the torch for someone new to take her place, and boy- has she earned it!

Gena- please know what a difference your service has made to Wiarton and beyond and the countless lives you have blessed. We honour you, and thank you and yours for your beautiful contribution ❤️

Wow- this is INCREDIBLE! Look what our region can accomplish when we all give a little! ♻️🥫🛻

Our area collectively raised 5,688 lbs of food items to be evenly distributed among our region's food banks- each receiving 474 lbs!
