Hearing our children sing, pray and carry these teachings forward reminds me why I continue this journey year after year.
The water walk is not only about walking, it is about protecting spirit, language, songs, future generations and our connection to the land and waters.
As we prepare for the Tenth Annual Wendaajiwondehnong Bimoseyan Mother Water Walk, we are still seeking support to help us make this sacred journey possible. Donations help with travel, food, supplies, camping needs and care for the sacred sled dogs who also carry this path with us.
