EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH STAFF SPOTLIGHT -Marnie Krupski

Marnie joined the Wiggles & Giggles team in September 2023 as our part-time Administrative Assistant.

Marnie is a very busy lady, balancing her position at Whitewood School, life as a new grandma, and supporting our centre when needed. While we may not get to see her often, she is always willing to help answer questions when they come up.

During her time with us, Marnie has assisted with bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative tasks that help keep things organized behind the scenes. Her experience and willingness to share her knowledge have been appreciated by both our Director and Board.

We know her schedule is a busy one, and we are grateful for the time she dedicates to supporting Wiggles & Giggles.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH STAFF SPOTLIGHT -Anne-Mart Fourie

Anne-Mart joined the Wiggles & Giggles team in July 2022, just before we officially opened our doors, and what a journey it has been!

She began as a Before & After School Educator while still in high school, where she was also completing her Level 1 ECE coursework. After graduating, Anne-Mart transitioned into a full-time educator role and quickly demonstrated strong leadership skills. It wasn’t long before she stepped into a supervisor position, and when the need arose, she took on the role of Assistant Director without hesitation.

Throughout her time at Wiggles & Giggles, Anne-Mart consistently showed dedication, professionalism, and a willingness to step up wherever she was needed. Her leadership, work ethic, and commitment helped shape our centre during some very important years of growth.

Although Anne-Mart stepped away from Wiggles in August 2025 to attend college and continue her Early Childhood Education studies, she has remained connected and has even returned to help out for a few shifts whenever she has been able. That continued support speaks volumes about the kind of person she is.

We will always be grateful for Anne-Mart and the impact she had on Wiggles & Giggles over the years. Her contributions helped shape the centre we are today, and we are so proud of everything she has accomplished and continues to work toward.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH STAFF SPOTLIGHT- Desiree Beutler

Desiree joined the Wiggles & Giggles team in September 2023 as a casual cook and has been a wonderful support to our kitchen ever sincez

We are so grateful for the flexibility and dedication Desiree brings to her role. Whenever she is available, she is always willing to come in and lend a hand, helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Even when she only has a few early morning hours to spare, Desiree jumps right in and helps with whatever needs to be done. From food preparation to kitchen organization, her support helps ensure our children and educators have everything they need for a successful day.

One of our favourite things about Desiree is that while she is here, you can usually hear her chatting away with our little friends throughout the centre. She always takes the time to answer their many questions, listen to their stories, and make them feel important. Those small interactions mean so much to the children and help create the warm, welcoming atmosphere we strive for at Wiggles & Giggles.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECITION MONTH STAFF SPOTLIGHT -Hunter Beutler

Hunter joined the Wiggles & Giggles team in May 2024 as a Before & After School Educator and quickly became a valued member of our centre.

After graduating in June 2025, Hunter moved away to attend university, but thankfully she chose to stay on our team as a casual educator and continues to come in whenever she is available and back in the area. We are so happy to still have her as part of the Wiggles & Giggles team.

One of Hunter’s greatest strengths is her ability to seamlessly step in wherever she is needed. Even if she hasn’t been in for a while, she quickly adapts to the day’s plans, goes with the flow, and jumps right back into the routine. Her flexibility and positive attitude make her such a valuable support to both the children and staff.

Hunter has a natural ability to build strong relationships with children and create meaningful connections with them. Her caring and approachable personality helps children feel comfortable, supported, and engaged.

Hunter first began taking ECE classes while still in high school and is now continuing her education at university as she works toward an education degree.

We are so proud of everything Hunter has accomplished so far and can’t wait to see where life takes her next. We know she has a bright future ahead!

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH- Mai Ellis

Mai joined the Wiggles & Giggles team in December 2025 as a casual custodian and has become an important part of keeping our centre looking its best.

Most of Mai’s work happens after the children and educators have gone home for the day. This allows them to dedicate extra time and attention to cleaning, organizing, and resetting the centre so it is ready for another busy day ahead.

Much of the work that goes into maintaining a childcare centre happens behind the scenes, and Mai plays a big role in ensuring our spaces remain clean, organized, safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.

We are grateful for the care and attention to detail Mai brings to their role and appreciate all the work they do to help keep Wiggles & Giggles running smoothly.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH STAFF SPOTLIGHT- Bentley Raiwet

Bentley joined the Wiggles & Giggles team in December 2025 as our part-time custodian and has been helping keep our centre clean, organized, and welcoming ever since.

Bentley comes in after school whenever she is available and works hard behind the scenes to ensure our classrooms and shared spaces are clean and tidy for both the children and staff. While much of her work happens after the busy parts of the day are over, it plays such an important role in helping our centre run smoothly.

A clean, safe environment is essential in childcare, and we are so grateful for the care and effort Bentley puts into maintaining our space.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH STAFF SPOTLIGHT- Jhennifer Serra

Jhennifer joined the Wiggles & Giggles team this month as a part-time support educator and quickly made a wonderful first impression on both the children and staff.

Right away, we noticed her potential to become an amazing educator, and we are so excited that she will officially be joining us full-time starting next month!

Jhennifer brings such a calm, compassionate, playful, and engaged energy into the centre. She connects naturally with the children and has already shown such strong instincts when it comes to supporting their learning, play, and emotional needs.

We are very excited to continue watching Jhennifer grow and develop in her role as an educator and can’t wait to have her with us every day!

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH STAFF SPOTLIGHT -Hannah McGuffin

Hannah joined the Wiggles & Giggles team in April as a part-time support educator and will be spending the summer with us before heading back to university in the fall!

Even in her short time with us so far, Hannah has already shown herself to be incredibly reliable and flexible. Whether jumping in to help where needed or adapting to the ever-changing pace of the day, Hannah approaches everything with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

We are excited to continue watching Hannah grow and develop her skills as an educator over the next few months and are so happy to have her as part of our team this summer.
