With its bright yellow blooms and snapdragon-like shape, this plant might look harmless — but Greater Butter-and-Eggs (aka Yellow Toadflax) is anything but. It spreads quickly in disturbed areas, reducing space for native plants to thrive. This plant won’t leave once it's invaded an area, but you can pull it regularly to stop any further spread🌿.

🌼Don’t be fooled by its beautiful yellow blooms — Tall Hawkw**d forms dense patches that limit plant diversity and disrupt natural plant succession. Keep an eye out and take action to preserve healthy, functioning landscapes🌼

A big thank you to everyone who came out to our last w**d pulls in Whistle Bend on the 16th and the 19th! Together, we tackled some White Sweetclover and Narrowleaf Hawksbeard along a walking path, and managed to fill five big bags. Your time and effort made a big difference in preserving our local ecosystem!💪

Narrowleaf Hawksbeard spreads quickly, taking advantage of disturbed soils and leaving little room for native vegetation to recover. Timely removal helps protect the structure and resilience of local ecosystems!🌼
