We’ll be wrapping up the season with an evening at the courts, celebrating our players, members, volunteers and everyone who helped make this season such a great one.

One of our Squash Yukon board members and volunteers is currently battling cancer at Whitehorse General Hospital.

Today, our squash coach and a fellow player stopped by the hospital patio to offer some encouragement. It’s a great reminder that our squash community is there for each other, both on and off the court.

Wishing you strength and a speedy recovery!

Part coach. Part organizer. Part magician. 100% squash.

This International Coaching Week (May 11–17, 2026), we’re celebrating the people who build players, shape character, and keep our community thriving. From developing juniors to running leagues, restringing racquets, and somehow juggling it all—this is what professional coaching looks like in action.

Thank you, Coach G, for everything you do on and off the court.

Events like this couldn’t happen without sponsors. Thank you RK4.

When he’s not battling it out on the squash court or supporting our community as a Squash Yukon sponsor, Grayson Peters is out doing work that really matters.

This video shows Grayson and the crew from Yukon Tree Services safely removing a hazardous tree that posed a serious risk to nearby property. It’s skilled, precise work—and not for the faint of heart.

We’re proud to have local businesses like this backing squash in the Yukon. Thanks for everything you do, both on and off the court.

A big thank you to all our league and tournament referees this past season. You kept the matches fair, the calls steady, and the games moving—often under pressure and with zero margin for error. The game doesn’t run without you.

Interested in stepping onto the court in a new way? Get started with your referee certification here: https://squash.ca/singles-officiating-program/
The online course is just $40.

Or contact our squash coach at [email protected] to learn more and get involved locally.
