We have local artist Lyn Fabio leading us on an Introduction to Visible Mending workshop.

If you have something you’d like to mend, bring it along and we can look at options to use.

Supplies are provided (including “holey bits” for practice), but bring scissors, needles, thread and scraps of fabric, if you have them.

The club meets every 3rd Sunday of the month, joined by club leaders & kid crafters Nellie and Lutra. This month's workshop will be led by local artist, Alaena Warner. She will teach all of us how to craft animal masks using recycled cardboard!

The Thrift Store is back in business! We're accepting donations again from y'all 🥰.

Quick reminders from anyone that is coming to the store to drop off their donations:

✨ For clothing, it needs to be in good wearable condition. If it's clean but has holes, tears, ripped, etc; drop it in the red bins outside instead.
✨ For puzzles, all the pieces need to be complete. Please don't donate puzzles with missing pieces, save the patron from the agony and confusion.
✨ For computers, mobile phones, charges, and any other tech: it's better to drop it off at Raven ReTek. They're located at 1000 Lewes Blvd Bldg 1235.
✨ For tools, we currently have a bunch of tool donations we're sifting through. Before you bring them in, shoot us an email at [email protected]
✨ For all other miscellaneous things, please speak to our store manager or staff first. Do not just leave them in the store without anyone checking the items.

We appreciate all your donations and your continued support for reuse! 🥰

We're thankful for patrons like Janet Patterson - Artist that look out for Raven.

As Janet already mentioned in the comments, several of those bins were not even full yet ☹.

Raven tries our best to play our role in waste management by diverting things from the landfill (i.e. items that can be recycled, reused, or repaired).

However, as we've mentioned time and time again, objects that have been left outside to the elements are most likely ending up in the landfill. We do not have the capacity to clean and wash clothing/textiles.

We have 5 additional bins from the Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society, please use them.

Good day folks!

Unfortunately, we're still swamped at the Raven Reuseful Store.

Please refrain from bringing any donations in the store until next week, September 9.

Clothing and textiles can still be donated in the big red bins outside. Other donations (houseware, kitchenware, etc) must wait until next week.

We thank you for your patience and kind understanding as we try our best to catch up with all the recent donations.
