We recently received a very generous donation from the Patrick and Beryl Campbell Charitable Trust to support our Community Pet Food Program.

As some of you already know, we started this program earlier this year to provide free pet food to people in Whitehorse and communities across the Yukon.

Pet food can be very expensive, especially in the communities. We want to help people keep their pets with them, regardless of their financial situation. Having some help with the cost of pet food can make a real difference.

The trustees reached out to us and asked how they could help, and we are so grateful that they chose to support this program.

Meet Mafalda/Gnocchi!!!

Mafalda is one of the pasta puppies that is still looking for her new home.

She is 5 months old and more then ready to find her permanent home.

She just went out for Adopt a Dog for a Day and came back with rave reviews about how great she was. She is good with kids and dogs and could likley adjust to a home with cats.
She will be on the bigger end of medium when full grown.
She is a true Yukon special.

Her adoption fee is $500

Meet Shaun!!!
Shaun is a 8 month old Alaskan Husky. Shaun is a lovely young dog. He is good with other dogs. He has been around cats with no problems and is good with kids.

Shaun was previously adopted, however, he was too loud when left alone, and his adopter’s landlord said he had to go.
Sean is a talker, as many huskies are.

Shaun will thrive in a active home and would probably make a excellent skijoring companion.
He has just been neutered and is ready to find his permanant home.

His adoption fee is $500

Meet Bedazzle!!!

Bedazzle is a 1yr old female cat. She is a very active cat and gets along with other cats, she would be fine with dogs that are used to cat and would likely be fine with kids.

She has just been spayed and is ready to find her new home.

Her adoption fee is 350$

A big thank you to a very thoughtful young person who donated their birthday money to Humane Society Yukon. They also brought in some beautiful new collars for our shelter dogs. ❤️

Meet Pearl!!!

Pearl is a 3-4 month old female husky x puppy. She is a lovely sweet little girl and would suit most homes. She would thrive in a active home.

Meet Kenai!!!

Kenai is a large mixed breed dog, he likely has some german shepherd and husky in there. Kenai is 6yrs old and good with kids. We do not know if he has ever lived with cats, so unsure how he would be in a home with cats.
He has lived with other dogs, however he is leash reactive and not great with dogs he does not know.
Kenai is a lovely sweet dog and would suit a home out of town or a bush type home.

His adoption fee is 400$
