🚨Road safety is a shared responsibility, and Watson Lake drivers are doing their part. During two recent fall check stops, RCMP officers checked approximately 350 vehicles and conducted more than 145 mandatory alcohol screening demands, with no impaired drivers detected.
Drivers are reminded to keep paper copies of their registration and insurance in their vehicle. 🛻
A big thank you to the Liard First Nations Land Guardians and the Watson Lake Conservation Officers for their partnership and assistance with the check stops.
🐻The check stops kept our officers busy enough to forget about taking photos. Thankfully, this Yukon bear family was willing to bear the responsibility of being today's featured image.

The victims/survivors of impaired driving include those who were directly involved in crashes caused by impaired drivers, as well as families and friends who cope with the loss or injury of loved ones.
