Whitecourt Potters' Guild We are located at 51 Whitecourt Avenue. Contact us at 780-706-5457. We are a volunteer-based non-profit group that likes to play with mud.

Our studio is located at the south end of the preschool building at 51 Whitecourt Avenue. Our entrance is at the left side of the parking lot. We hold two major sales every year in May and November, just in time for Mother's Day and Christmas. Caine's Jewellers has been exceptionally generous to us and allows us to use their window display space to show our pottery during the rest of the year. We

very much appreciate their support. Some members also sell their work locally. If you are looking for something, send us a message and we will let our members know. We host a Chili Bowl Day once a year. People who sign up receive a handmade bowl and a chili lunch. Members donate clay, bowls and their time and all proceeds go to support the work of Tenille's Hope Soup Kitchen in Whitecourt. We work with a couple of sponsors, anyone who is interested in helping us with this is welcome to get in touch. We provide one day courses for some non-profit children's groups in the community. It's fun for all of us and helps spread the love of clay. Groups that are interested can contact us and we'll try to find a volunteer instructor and see if we can make it happen. Beginner classes are usually held when we have the volunteer instructors able to give their time. We have limited room for new members and will hold courses when we have room. We have held workshops in the past for non-members when an instructor expresses an interest in holding one. Any future classes or workshops will be announced on this page and will be on a first paid basis.
