Five souls, thousands of miles from their roots, connected by one shared passion — Bangla music.

Goheen (গহীন) brings together Bangladeshi musical heritage with their own expression of love, emotion, diversity, and connection.

🎸 Durjoy — Bass

Their music moves between originals and uniquely reimagined covers. Their first original, “Bibhaajon,” released in March 2026, has already crossed 100K views on YouTube, and the band is now working on their next single, “Samoyik.”

Formed by a family after their move from Bangladesh to Canada, Crack Platoon has grown into a dynamic ensemble whose musical journey spans classic rock, progressive rock, and jazz. Their inspiring story has taken them from local performances to international stages, including Melbourne, Australia.

We are very excited to showcase Daleya Bangla Music School, bringing a rich legacy of Bengali music and cultural education to the Rhyth-Mic Festival stage on September 12.

Founded in Ottawa in 2009 and led by Daleya Yeasmin—a former Rabindra Sangeet artist of Khulna Radio, Bangladesh—Daleya Bangla Music School has spent more than 15 years nurturing young talent and preserving Bengali musical heritage.

Under Daleya’s guidance, students from Bangladesh, Toronto, and Ottawa have performed in numerous cultural programs, including the acclaimed “Agamir Haat Dhorey,” earning praise from audiences across Ottawa and Montreal.

As part of Rhyth-Mic’s commitment to artist development, cultural connection, and community building, we are delighted to welcome these talented young performers to our stage.
