100 Men of Whitby

100 men of Whitby getting together 4 times a year, each giving $100/per time for charity, as voted by the members.

The concept is simple:

• Get a 100 men in Whitby to meet four times a year
• Each meeting members nominate three charities serving Whitby to come forth and give a 7 minute presentation including questions
• Each member votes by private ballot on their preferred charity of the three presented for that meeting
• Each member writes a cheque to the charity for $100 that day with a goal of $10,000 going to a charity each quarter
• Charitable receipts will be provided directly by the charity

The 100 men of Whitby is saddened to learn of the passing of long time member John Vickery. John was a lifelong Whitby resident, business owner and tireless advocate for the community. He will be missed.

If you know of a local charity or organization that you feel should have a chance to present, simply let us know via email at [email protected]. Provide the full charity name and a link to their website or any information on what they do and which communities they serve.

Today the 100 Men of Whitby committee had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for $4600 to who was the charity of choice at the last meeting.
