Durham Steelhawks Sledge Hockey

The 3rd Annual Dave Baldwin Memorial Sledge Hockey tournament is coming up from September 11-12th at The Invista Centre in Kingston. $20 entry to throw your stick in the pile, teams will be chosen by name draw. This is an early season tournament/social event, where the level of competition will be similar to Intermediate C Division play.

We can’t end the 2025-2026 season without a shoutout to our Junior Steelhawks as well! As they travelled to the Ottawa tournament in early April for the last tournament of the season and came away with a Bronze Medal! Thank you to Kawartha blazers players who joined us for a great weekend!

Are you interested in learning more about and trying inclusive recreational physical activity opportunities in Durham Region? Join CP-Net and the Ontario Brain Institute, in collaboration with non-profit organizations in our community, for an interactive showcase. This interactive showcase will enable you to explore inclusive programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, including physical and behavioural support needs.

The event is open to individuals with developmental disabilities, families and caregivers, service providers and community organizations interested in inclusive recreation.
