Art With A Heart Inc. We are a registered charitable organization in the Durham Region. Some of these artists are also trained Expressive Arts Therapists.

We partner with community organizations, groups, and people and develop tailored art programs with a therapeutic focus. Projects and workshops are led by trained and skilled facilitators who are prolific working artists. Their works span multiple styles and mediums including but not limited to, visual arts, jewellery making, sculpture, music, dance and creative movement. Because many of our progra

ms are out in the community, our studio hours are limited so we are generally in the studio space during workshops bi-weekly on Thursday and Friday evenings (Let's Create or Connect & Create), or by appointment. Weekends for workshops only at this time

Bloom: Adults with Disabilities Expressive Arts is back this fall! Join us for relaxed, sensory-friendly art-making designed to spark imagination, encourage self-expression, and build connection. 🌱

We have had so much fun this summer with our amazing staff and campers. Art With a Heart wouldn’t be here without the dedication and commitment each staff member put into our summer programs. Sad that our summer programs are now over but wanted to share the fun that we have had with our campers and staff.

We asked the campers to guess the AWAH camp leaders baby photos. Then we had the campers ask their leaders for autographs.

🌊Discover the fun, colors, and creativity of the beach and ocean next week with Sandy Toes 🐚✨

Next week, young artists will explore sandy shores, rolling waves, seashells, and all the creatures that live by the water.🐠

Through hands-on creative activities, campers ages 4 to 13 will use the sights, textures, and wonders of the beach as inspiration for their artwork.

It's a week to be creative, express yourself, and bring the wonders of the ocean and the joy of beach days to life through art!☀️🎨
