Last week we were thrilled to present a cheque to our Food Truck Frenzy Whitby raffle winner Mary Carr! 💸

We also had a very special guest from the Rotary Club of Thane Hills New Mumbai. Rotarian Mandar Bhalerao gave us some wonderful updates on the various humanitarian projects their club is involved in. Thank you to our International Committee members for making this amazing connect from across the globe 🌏

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of presenting the JR Dodger Baseball team with a $5,600 cheque to support their travel to Alberta to compete in the 2026 National Special Olympics Canada Summer Games Medicine Hat.

Good luck to the JR Dodgers! We know you are going do crush it ⚾️

We had another very special guest at last week’s meeting! Enrique Mk was a Rotary Youth Exchange participant hosted by our club way back in 2002. He was visiting Canada from Argentina and we are so honoured he made time to visit us during his trip.

We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Canada, Enrique! 🇨🇦🇦🇷

Our club was grateful to once again host Dr. Paul Thistle at our meeting last Wednesday evening!

Dr. Thistle is the director of Karanda Mission Hospital in Zimbabwe, which provides life saving healthcare to those who might not otherwise have access. 🩺

Over the years, our club has been proud to support Dr. Thistle and his work at Karanda though many fundraising efforts.

President’s Night 2026! 🎉

It was a wonderful night filled with fun, fellowship, and recognition as we celebrated another successful Rotary year including:

✨ Induction of a new member
✨ Presentation of a Paul Harris Fellow
✨ Rotarian of the Year Award
✨ 50/50 draw winner
✨ Fun Awards

We also had the opportunity to thank our outgoing President, Deidre, for her dedication and leadership, and warmly welcome Larry as our incoming President for the new Rotary year. Congratulations to all of our award recipients, and thank you to everyone who made the evening so memorable. Here’s to another year of friendship, service, and making a difference together! 💙💛
