⛵🌊 SAIL PAST & COMMODORE’S BBQ

One of the most cherished traditions of the season is almost here—the Blessing of the Fleet and Sail Past, followed immediately by the Commodore’s BBQ.

📅 Saturday, June 13th
🕓 4:00–7:00 PM

This event is open to ALL members, and we encourage everyone to take part in the celebration on the water or ashore.

If you are a Social, Dinghy, or Dry Sail member and would like to participate in the Sail Past, please reach out and we will arrange for you to get out on one of the boats before returning to shore for the BBQ.

After the Sail Past, the celebration continues dockside with an evening of food, music, and family-friendly entertainment.

🎶 Live music on the patio featuring The Brock Street Band
🎈 Family-friendly activities and lawn games

The racing season is officially underway at Whitby Yacht Club! ⛵

This past week we kicked things off with Shark24 One Design racing on Tuesday and PHRF racing on Wednesday — and what an incredible turnout from our sailing community!

A huge thank you to all of our competitors, crews, volunteers, and members who made the start of the season such a success. It’s fantastic to see Lake Ontario full of sails and so many familiar and new faces out on the water.

Interested in joining the fun? Whether you’re an experienced sailor, looking to crew, or completely new to the sport, there’s a place for you at Whitby Yacht Club.
