Today we had the honour of hearing from Anjali, an incredible 14-year-old entrepreneur and the brilliant mind behind Thoughtlane.

At just 14, Anjali is already showing what can happen when creativity, confidence and a great idea come together. It was inspiring to hear about her journey, her passion, and the vision she has for her business.

There is something pretty special about watching young people dream big — and then actually turn those dreams into something real. Way to go, Anjali! We can’t wait to see where Thoughtlane takes you next!

Today our members had the privilege of hearing Steve Rutledge share the story of his incredible international project in Laos.

What an inspiring presentation. For the past 17 years, Steve and his dedicated team have been transforming lives by bringing clean, safe water to villages that have never had access to it. Seeing the joy and emotion on the faces of families as water flows into their communities for the very first time is truly moving.

Thank you, Steve, for your commitment, compassion, and service. The impact you and your team continue to make is nothing short of extraordinary.

Whitby Sunrise Rotary Club supports St. Andrew’s Church and the Operation Backpack 2026 program with a donation of $3,140. This community program will help 6000 students be prepared, confident and ready to learn in the coming school year! Club members also help at the Church’s food bank each week delivering food to those unable to leave their homes.

Our Ribfest Co-Chairs are hard at work this morning, meeting of the minds.. making sure everything is ready for another fantastic day. What a great weekend it's been so far—and we're not done yet!

Gates are open today from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Victoria Fields.

Bright and early, our Facility A Team is already on the field... and it's a true meeting of the minds!
The planning is done, the ideas are flowing, and the game plan for Thursday's big setup is officially underway! Every detail is being mapped out to make sure Whitby Ribfest PLUS is ready to welcome thousands of visitors for an incredible weekend.
A huge thank you to this amazing team for your dedication, teamwork, and willingness to get the job done. We can't wait to see it all come together!

Meet Our New Club President – Mike Miller!

The Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise is excited to welcome Mike Miller as our Club President for the 2026–2027 Rotary year!

Mike brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine passion for serving our community. We know his leadership will inspire our members, create new opportunities for service, and ensure we continue to have plenty of fun along the way.
We are looking forward to an exciting year filled with friendship, fellowship, meaningful projects, and making an even greater impact in our community.
