Each year, the Rotaract Clubs of District 5040 bring six international Rotaractors to BC through PACE, and we’re proud that Whistler is part of their journey. 💙

For the past 10 years, the Brandywine Boogie has had traditional race medals.

This year, we wanted to do something different.

Since all proceeds from the Boogie go directly to Engaruka Elementary School in Tanzania, we asked the students if they could create this year’s medals using traditional Maasai design.

They said yes. ❤️

And here they are.

Handmade by the community this race helps support — which makes them pretty special.

This is what your Rotary support looks like. 💙📚

Meet Ender R., an 8th-grade student in Guatemala supported through the Rise Youth Development Program.

We recently received his academic update, and we’re very happy to share that Ender has earned an “Excellent” academic status — meaning he is passing all of his classes and is right on track. 🙌

Through the program, students receive ongoing academic monitoring and support from local facilitators and teachers, helping them stay engaged, overcome challenges, and continue their education.

For our Rotary Club, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the person behind the project and the real impact that ongoing support can have.
