The Rise & Sean Foundation Rise & Sean takes schoolchildren from developing nations on educational, outdoor-based field trips within their own countries.

We want to Help Kids See the World! The Rise & Sean Foundation was created to fund and facilitate educational outdoor field trips for students in developing nations, so they can experience the transformational benefits that only come from adventurous, meaningful travel. We want to help kids see the world by bringing students AND school faculty (teachers/principal, etc) with us on the trips, along

with other volunteers like van/bus drivers, cooks, parent chaperones, etc. We take them to unique places within their own countries so it's like a road trip...they're away from their families for 5 days or so. We plan the itineraries with education in mind. ie: take the kids to ancient ruins, then afterwards the teachers have lesson plans prepared based on what they learned/experienced that day. The intention is to IMMERSE kids in the act of travel, and to facilitate learning along the way.

Holy s**t I can’t even believe this day is here!!!

Early on in the deep development stages I wrote down a quote from a book I was reading. For some reason it hit my soul like a punch to the stomach and I wrote it down in my RISE journal.

I don’t know if what I’ve created can be held up against these words, but I do know that it will help a lot of people spend a lot of time connecting with nature, connecting with each other, and ultimately creating memories that will become a part of who they are.
