This month, we’re proud to participate in Second Hand September ♻️🛍️
Secondhand shopping is about so much more than finding something great for less. It’s about giving pre-loved pieces a second life, keeping items out of the landfill, and supporting the incredible work happening in our local community.

Created by Oxfam International, we’re excited to join the movement this month and celebrate the impact we can make when we choose secondhand first.

The last weekend of every month is BUSY at RUI! Save yourself time and check out our moving tips! As always, you are welcome to call us ahead of time if you are bringing a large amount of items so our team can prepare new mega bags. 604-932-1121.

Please note that the Re-Use-It Centre will be CLOSED for both shopping and donations on Monday, August 3 for the stat holiday. Thank you for not leaving your donations outdoors when we are closed, our team appreciates it!

Reminder that donations left outdoors:

- attract animals (protect our bears!)
- can be damaged by weather (wet items cannot be sold or stored!)
- block key entrances and exits (our staff need safe access to stores!)

🥳💖PLEASE NOTE that our Outreach services, Food Bank, and the Re-Use-It Centre will close EARLY at 5pm on Friday, July 24 so our staff can attend their summer staff party. Thank you for your support so we can celebrate our hardworking teams!

Please note that the Re-Use-It Centre parking lot will be CLOSED at 2pm on Tuesday, July 14, so we can get ready to greet our birthday party guests at 5pm! The party is FREE to attend and runs from 5pm - 7pm, we hope to see you there!

The store will be open regular hours for donations (closed at 3pm) and shopping (closing at 6pm).
