Hope Mission Wetaskiwin has been a part of the community and serving families like yours since 2010

We are making a difference in Wetaskiwin:
– feeding kids, building relationships with kids through an after school program and providing life-changing nature experiences at Bethany Homes

Main Programs:

1) Food for Thought

We serve healthy lunches to kids who were coming to school either without a lunch, or without a proper lunch. Our Food For Thought program is so well received that we now serv

e lunches in 14 Wetaskiwin schools.

2) Kids in Action

Kids in Action provides after-school care, and a meal, to kids in need. We are currently offering Kids In Action at 4 Wetaskiwin schools.

3) Bethany Homes

Located 14km east of Wetaskiwin, Bethany Homes is situated on 140 beautiful acres. Bethany Homes is a Hope Mission ministry offering opportunities for gardening. Making this program available to local schools and groups, we hope to partner with our community in delivering a support service for children and youth.

4) Horses of Hope

Horses of Hope at Bethany Homes exists to develop character in the lives of youth in the Wetaskiwin area. Hope Mission desires to not only offer youth a safe environment to improve their horsemanship skills but also to build character and learn a foundation of faith. As these young people expand their thinking in regard to themselves, others, and God, they will equipped with the tools to positively contribute to their families and their community. For kids these programs mean a future without hunger, homelessness or addiction.

We’re hiring Casual Summer Cabin Leaders to help create a safe, fun, and encouraging camp experience. From leading games and activities to building meaningful relationships and supporting campers through overnight camps, this role is all about making a lasting impact in the lives of youth.

Working Weeks:
• Staff Training: June 29, 30 & July 2
• Overnight Camp at Bethany Homes: July 12–16
• Overnight Camp at Brightwood Camp: July 19–24
• Overnight Camp at Brightwood Camp: July 26–31

If you love working with kids and youth, enjoy being active outdoors, and want to be part of a Christ-centered team environment, we’d love to hear from you! Experience with youth programs, camps, or horsemanship is an asset.

We still have spots available for 3 exciting weeks of day camp this summer for kids & youth ages 11–17!!

• July 6–9
• August 4–7
• August 11–14

This year, we are using a NEW registration system and registration will be done through an application process.

Once you submit your child(ren)’s application, our team will review it and follow up to let you know if they have been accepted into the program or placed on our waitlist.

We’re hiring!

Bethany Homes is looking for a Part-Time Summer Cook to join our team this summer. This role is a great opportunity to be part of something meaningful by helping provide meals and care for youth in a supportive, community-focused environment.

As our Summer Cook, you’ll be preparing lunches, working alongside a great team, and playing a key role in creating a space where young people feel welcomed and supported.

Multiple working weeks available throughout July and August
Shifts run from 10:00am – 2:30pm
Supportive team environment

We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for our Summer Day Camps at Bethany Homes this summer! With 3 incredible weeks of camp for ages 11 to 18 available, it’s going to be a season full of fun, connection, and unforgettable memories.

NEW THIS YEAR - Wrangler Training Experience - one week of overnight camp riding horses alongside a week of serving others and leadership growth.
For Ages 15 to 18 only.

Our Hope Mission Wetaskiwin team is looking for reusable grocery bags to help us pack and distribute food hampers to individuals and families in our community. 🛍️💛

As we continue serving those in need, having sturdy reusable bags makes a big difference in how we prepare and deliver hampers with care and dignity.
