Today, we pause to remember and reflect.

Here are just a few Indigenous-led organizations in Tiohtià/Montreal to learn about and support:

🧡Resilience Montreal
🧡Native Montreal
🧡Native Friendship Centre of Montreal
🧡Projets Autochtones du Québec (PAQ)
🧡Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal

We acknowledge that Centre Greene is situated on the traditional territory of the Kanien’kehà:ka, a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst many First Nations and we recognize and respect the Kanien’kehà:ka as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which we work.

We’re excited to introduce Art Is Everywhere, a weekly community workshop where creativity is a way to connect, share and learn from one another. Bring along something you no longer need, are ready to part with, or simply wonder what else it could become and give it a new life. ♻️✨

This isn’t a traditional art class, and you don’t need to consider yourself an artist. Come to make something, share a story, teach a skill, learn something new, meet people from different generations or simply spend some time creating together.

🧵 Repurpose. Reuse. Reimagine.
💭 Share memories, stories and ideas.
🤝 Learn from one another.
🎨 Make something just for the joy of making.

Registration will open on Amilia this coming Monday, when our new season of programming is updated. We’d love to have you join us!

What if that old button box, piece of fabric, greeting card, map, photograph or forgotten craft supply could become something new?

🎨 ART IS EVERYWHERE!
Art Is Everywhere at Centre Greene is part of the Seasons of Sharing project made possible thanks to the support of the Grace Dart Foundation.

We noticed that Mayor Mamdani and NYC recently hosted a Parents’ Night Out and honestly, it made us smile! 💚

At Centre Greene, we’ve been giving parents a Friday night off with TGIF for 20 years! While kids ages 6-12 enjoy a themed evening of fun, parents get a few hours to themselves.

Dinner out? Catching up with friends? Grocery shopping in blissful silence? A date with your couch? No judgment here! 😂

TGIF is back this October! We just couldn’t wait to announce this one, after all, we felt like we were a little ahead of our time! 😉

And this is just the beginning! Stay tuned for all the other wonderful programs returning this fall.

🚨 On dirait bien que le maire de New York aime notre style! 😉
