On May 29, 1926, the first Legion badge, said to be made from Manitoba gold, was presented to the Governor General, Lord Byng of Vimy. Its design has remained largely unchanged, becoming a lasting symbol of the Legion’s identity and commitment to Veterans, Remembrance, and community service.

The Ladies Auxiliary will be taking a much needed break from our Friday Suppers. We will not be having one in June. We will start up again in September or October. We are also in need of more Volunteers and Members. Your first year as a Member is FREE! If you have been thinking about becoming a member now is the time. Please come into the Legion grab a membership application or just leave your name and number if you just want to Volunteer.

This Friday the Westlock Legion Ladies Auxiliary #97 will be hosting a very yummy Roast Beef Supper! $20.00 per person, children 6 and under are FREE! This includes your meal and all the yummy fixings, coffee, Tea, Juice, Water and your dessert! Supper will be served from 5pm - 6pm.

We have hired 2 new caters, Dale & Emily. Dale will be in the kitchen helping prepare this yummy meal. Please come in and make him feel welcome and you will go home with a full tummy and no dishes to do.

Burns Night Supper - January 24, 2026

Reminder to get your tickets to our "Robbie Burns Supper". If you are planning on attending please get your tickets this week. If we do not have enough tickets sold the event may have to be cancelled. So hurry. Also, don't forget tickets are available for "early bird" pricing, but only until January 18, 2026.

Tickets are $60 each (early bird price) and are available in the office or at the bar.
