Offered in many Alberta communities by Community Futures. Lemonade Day in Northern Alberta is on June 13, 2026! Lemonade Day is about more than a Lemonade Stand and it is more than just a Day! Help us empower today’s youth to be tomorrow’s entrepreneurs! Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches Alberta youth how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemona
de stand. The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society – the business leaders, social advocates, volunteers, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow. Lemonade Day is open to kids - kindergarten to high school. Each child that registers attends Lemonade University where they receive a backpack with an Entrepreneur Workbook that teaches them the lessons of Lemonade Day like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal-setting, problem solving, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some. This is a great opportunity for kids in rural Northern Alberta to try their hand at starting and managing their own business, but Lemonade Day is a big project so we need your help! We are looking for participants, volunteers sponsors and more. If you are interested in being a part of Lemonade Day 2024 please contact us today. If you are a teacher interested in bring Lemonade Day to your classroom please contact us.
