Jean Ip Foundation The Jean Ip Foundation, a non-profit organization is named after its founder, Ms. Jean Sheung-Chi Ip, (Charitable Registration No. 771509718RR0001).

Our mission is “Putting God’s love into action through kindness to one another “. On August 6, 2018, the Jean Ip Foundation was registered as a charitable organization under the Income Tax Act (Canada), (Charitable Registration No. 771509718RR0001). The purposes of the Foundation are:

1. To relieve poverty by providing food and other basic necessities of life to individuals and families who are

in need;

2. To advance education by providing publicly available scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of financial assistance to individuals for post-secondary education;

3. To receive gifts, bequests, funds, and property, and to hold, invest, administer and distribute funds and property to such other organizations that are “qualified donees” under the provisions of the Income Tax Act (Canada); and

4. To do all such other things as are incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the foregoing purposes, and to exercise the powers of the Foundation.

🎉 We’re excited to share that the Jean Ip Foundation has received funding from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program! 🇨🇦

This grant supports our Seniors Volunteer Program, empowering 40 seniors with professional training and leadership opportunities at three rice distribution events and a scholarship ceremony. 💪👵👴

✅ 3,000 underprivileged seniors will receive gifts
✅ 40 senior volunteers will receive hands-on training
✅ 40 students will give back and connect with our seniors

Together, we’re building a more inclusive and caring community, one event at a time. 💖
