Registration Now Open: First Nations Leading the Way 9

We are honoured to welcome you to the 9th Annual First Nations Leading the Way national meeting. This year, we gather in Vancouver, BC, on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations from October 14–16, 2026.

Our theme—“Building for the Future: A Generation of Collaborative Growth”—celebrates the momentum First Nations are creating through innovation, partnership, and self determined governance.

This national gathering is a premier space for First Nations leadership, administrators, and economic development champions to connect, learn, and share stories of success. Together, we will explore how the First Nations Fiscal Management Act and the fiscal framework are empowering Nations to move beyond the Indian Act and advance their own visions for prosperity, jurisdiction, and community well being.
