Thanks to the generous support of Jackpot Time Gaming Centre, students at Aldborough Public School enjoyed a celebratory pizza lunch with members of the Kiwanis Club of West Lorne in recognition of their participation in the Terrific Kids and Bring Up Grades (B.U.G.) programs.
The Kiwanis Club of West Lorne is proud to support student success at Aldborough Public School through two meaningful Kiwanis programs: Terrific Kids for students in Grades 1 to 3 and Bring Up Grades (B.U.G.) for students in Grades 4 to 6. Through the generous support of Jackpot Time Gaming Centre, our club was able to provide a special pizza lunch to recognize the students taking part in these programs and to celebrate their efforts and achievements.
It was especially rewarding to have three members of our club in attendance to receive the students’ thank-yous and to hear directly about the progress being made. Support from partners such as Jackpot Time Bingo helps make these moments possible and strengthens our ability to recognize and encourage young people in our community.
Terrific Kids is designed to recognize positive growth, improved behaviour, and strong character. The program gives students an opportunity to be acknowledged for the everyday choices that help build responsibility, confidence, and important life skills.
Bring Up Grades (B.U.G.) encourages students to set goals, work diligently, and improve or maintain their academic performance. With support from teachers, classmates, and goal buddies, the program helps students stay motivated and take pride in their progress.
At Kiwanis, we believe that the support of families, educators, and community partners plays a vital role in student success. We are honoured to work alongside Aldborough Public School in recognizing student effort and in encouraging young people to continue striving toward their goals.
