Come join us on Saturday, Oct 24th to help Telemark get ready for winter. We are hosting our annual volunteer work party from 9:00 AM until Noon at the Telemark Nordic Centre to...split firewood, paint, do trail maintenance, and accomplish a few other odd jobs before the season starts. All are welcome!

We will break at noon for lunch. The Club will host a FREE BBQ with burgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks for all.

The Telemark Annual General Meeting will take place right after lunch at 1pm. The AGM is a great opportunity to meet the Telemark Board of Directors and find out what is going on in the Club.

Call for Nominations for the 2026-27 Telemark Board of Directors and AGM notice:

Are you willing to serve your Club by volunteering for a one-year term on the Telemark Board of Directors? The commitment required for a rewarding and enjoyable experience is to attend a 2-hour board meeting once per month where you will participate in discussions about everything skiing, snowshoeing and snow. Most board members will also take on an additional project to help develop and enhance our club. Detailed job description here.

In accordance with the club bylaws all board positions are open for nominations and election each year. This year we have up to 3 “at large” vacancies due to retiring board members or unfilled positions but nominations are accepted for all 13 positions. More details on our website post. Please submit nominations by email to [email protected]. Nominations close on Sunday Oct 4th, 2026. In accordance with our bylaws nominations will not be accepted from the floor during the AGM.

The AGM will take place at the Telemark daylodge 1:00pm Saturday Oct 24, 2026 after the Volunteer Work Party & BBQ.

In the past several years, Kal Tire has generously supported our sport by funding ski playgrounds, adventure trails, roller skis, coaching development, program equipment, and more. The last few years Telemark alone has received funding of more than $11,000 towards our programs and facilities through Kal Tire.

We are in the dog days of summer now! That means the xc ski & snowshoe season is going to be here before you know it. Hopefully you are looking forward to a beautiful, cool, snowy winter as much as we are. What could be better to help you get away from all the craziness of life than to come xc skiing or snowshoeing at Telemark this coming winter!

Telemark Nordic Season Pass/Membership and Program registration is now available on our Zone 4 Registration Page - link in bio. Registering early will really make a difference to the Club. We are looking forward to a much better season this coming winter and anticipate that we will be back to our “normal” amazing conditions with snow from early December to late March.

What does Telemark mean to young Crosby ⤵️
